Welcome to Mini Things headquartered in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The company formerly known as Jean’s Mini Things consists of two sisters—Jean Lawnsdale of Hanover, Pennsylvania and Lottie Clinedinst of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Jean’s Mini Things specialized in handcrafting miniatures for Department 56 village displays. Both of us are Department 56 collectors and crafters. Jean thought we would make a good team so we have combined forces to create Mini Things. As the newly formed Mini Things we plan to continue to create new minis to use in lit village displays.

In addition to accessories for lit houses we have branched out to include dollhouse miniatures as well as miniature gift items to display alone or use in shadow boxes. We have noticed that while many products, are available commercially for one-inch scale dollhouses, there is little if any produced for one-half or one-quarter scale houses. As this is the scale we are accustomed to working in, we are excited at the prospect of expanding our offerings while continuing to work on the really tiny things that our customers love.
